Refund Eligibility
RackByte LLC offers a 3-Day Money-Back Guarantee for the following services when purchased on a monthly billing term:
Refunds apply to first-time purchases only and must be requested within 3 days of the initial payment. Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Non-Refundable Services
The following services are non-refundable under any circumstance:
- Dedicated Servers
- Sale Offers plans
- Software licenses (WHMCS, cPanel, Plesk, CloudLinux, JetBackup, etc.)
- Additional IP addresses
- Additional Bandwidth
- Any one-time service, setup, or consulting fee
- Pre-paid funds added to the user account
Terms Violations
Any customer found to be in violation of RackByte's Terms & Condition or Acceptable Use Policy forfeits their eligibility for a refund.
Refund Ineligibility
Refundable services become ineligible for a refund under the following circumstances:
- More than 50% of the allocated bandwidth has been used
- The service was received as a transfer from another customer
- The service was transferred to another customer
- The service was terminated due to reported and verified abuse
- The service has been renewed (refunds apply to new purchases only)
- The service is associated with a verified violation of our Terms & Condition or Acceptable Use Policy
- The service includes custom configurations, licensed software, or non-standard provisioning
- The service was provisioned under a free trial or promotional offer
- The service required allocation of dedicated or non-reclaimable backend resources
- Substantial technical support or manual intervention has already been provided
- A chargeback, payment dispute, or payment reversal was initiated without first attempting to resolve the matter directly with us.
- Refunds will not be issued if the service was compromised due to the customer's negligence, including but not limited to the use of outdated or vulnerable software, weak or reused passwords, failure to apply security patches, or insecure configuration practices
Please note that refund eligibility is determined at our sole discretion based on the circumstances of the request and applicable policy terms.
Cancellation of Services:
- Customers may cancel their hosting services at any time after the refund period has ended.
- No refunds will be issued for any unused portion of the remaining hosting term.
- All cancellation requests must be submitted through our customer support system.
Crypto Payment Refund:
- Crypto payment can be only refunded as an account credit, which can be used anytime to buy or renew a service.
Refund Processing Time:
- Upon approval, please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.
- Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
